Beyond the restaurant, Chef Chang also shares his passion online through his YouTube channel, where he presents his favorite recipes, cooking techniques, and inspiration from Nepalese and Asian cuisine. Through these videos, he invites food lovers to explore his culinary world at home.

Subas is a chef whose journey spans more than a decade and three countries. Originally from Nepal, he began his culinary career in Indian restaurants, where he spent five years mastering traditional Indian flavors, spices, and techniques. This solid foundation led him to Dubai, one of the world’s most competitive culinary markets, where he further developed his skills in high-paced, multicultural kitchens.

After gaining international experience, Subas moved to Prague, where he joined the celebrated Asian fusion restaurant SIA. Over the course of three years, he became a core member of the team, known for his precision and dedication in the open kitchen, especially when preparing SIA’s legendary Kung Pao.

Today, Subas brings his passion, creativity, and discipline to his own venture – Namo Buddha, a modern Asian restaurant located in the heart of Prague. As the co-founder and Chef, he combines his rich experience from Nepal, India, Dubai, and the Czech Republic to create a menu that honors tradition while embracing innovation. Every dish he prepares reflects his belief in honest cooking, bold flavors, and attention to detail.

Though quiet in conversation, Subas communicates loudly through his cuisine. His food tells a story – one of culture, travel, and love for the craft.
